April Minutes: Andrea Taylor moved to accept March minutes. Carol second. All
approved.
Financials: $7691.31 in checking and $4659.62 in savings.
Board Vacancy – Rebecca York has resigned due to moving. Kristen Johnston volunteered to replace Rebecca.
Susan Cimburek moved to place Kristen on the board. Bobbie Rosa seconded the motion. All approved.
Presentation: Thank you to Teresa Bagdol – Celbrate Recovery for her presentation and to the commitment
to our community.
Old Business:
Taste of Christmas will start meeting in July. Green Chile Fest needs volunteers and sponsors
New Business: Ignacio Graduation May 27th
Round Table Updates:
Bruce LeClaire – Boys and Girls Club - Scholarships for Summer attendees. Rural Philanthropy Days will be in
the area they will visit Ignacio on June 7 th at 9am planning visits to Sun Ute Community Center, ELHI possibly
KSUT. Looking for donations for Swag Bags for philanthropists and sponsors for the event.

Team UP – distributing funds for summer programs. Looking for staff.
Los Pinos Fire Protection District – Currently Training Wildland Crews they will be stationed here
June/July/August but will work nationally as needed. Station 5 is complete. Upper Pine has scholarships for
interested parties to attend EMT School for free. Tony is retiring announcement of the new fire chief soon.

Community Banks of Colorado – Erik has moved back to the Bayfield Branch. First Saturday of June will be the
Bayfield Yard Sale. $5 Donation goes to Pine River Shares.
ELHI – Ignite gymnasts very successful at Regionals. Pine River Shares second Saturdays 10am – 2pm.
Backpack Snack Summer Program donate at ELHI
Cajas – Kameryn looking for interest in ADU’s and for community housing needs.
Ignacio Community Library – Check out May Newsletter, Summer Reading will start soon. Book-mobile on
track for Summer.
Community Parties back every 2 nd Friday, June, July and August.

Southern Ute Indian Tribe – Amy suggested making sure you watch Facebook for everything going on at the
Tribe. Tribal Code will go out to public after approved by council. Check out the Sun Ute website for activities

Dancing Spirit – breaking ground next week!! Decided to change name to Dancing Spirit Center for the Arts.

Ignacio Youth Baseball – looking for sponsors.
Jack-A-Lope Acres – Planning to open May 25 th . Working with visit Durango, when visitors go to the Visitor
Center they will recommend as a destination. Designing an Escape Trail and working on a liquor license

Meeting with Visit Durango to push people to Ignacio. June 6 th Music in the Mountains will be in Shoshone
Park.
