Called to order: 8:02 am


Thank you to Sky Ute Casino for hosting the Chamber Meeting


October Minutes: Annette moved to approve Andrea seconded. All approved


Speaker Trevor Byrd, Durango Harley Davidson – Recap of a successful 2022 Four Corners Rally land possibilities for to 2023 Rally. They hope to bring more of the Rally back to Ignacio. Meeting with the SUIT Growth Fund for the opportunity to hold more events at Casino and Sky Ute Fairgrounds and RV Park. The Rally will need community support.


Boys and Girls Club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe – 7th Annual Toy Drive is accepting donations around town. Fill the Van on December 17th and Community Toy Distribution on December 23rd. Cassandra Sanchez recognized at the Native Summit with the Native Spirit Award.


Sky Ute Casino - December 10th Leonard C Burch Day Walk and Run; Roaring 20’s New Years Eve, Christmas Specials make reservations


Ignacio Public Schools – Come support the Bobcats during Basketball Season, 4-day week seems to be working, Green Review Tree Auction at Taste of Christmas raised $1200 for the Music Program.


Ignacio Community Library – Stuffy sleepover on December 21st, Denim and Diamonds Fundraiser on January 27th, check out online author events live, or you can listen after the event on the ICL website, Mystery Dinner on Valentine’s Day they need actors.


Los Pinos Fire – Working with school to hold Fire School on student Friday’s off, 900 emergencies this year, Station 5 will be staffed by January which is important due to increased emergency calls in Arboles, EMS Services now include ultrasound


Southern Ute Vocational Rehab – Working on the 1st Southern Ute Disability Awareness Vocation Day more information soon


Town of Ignacio – End of budget season, annexation of 17 acres Ignacio South Property, working on a housing project with school district


Jackelope – Christmas Events getting underway check out their website


ELHI – Taste of Christmas was a huge success Thanks to Cora and Liz helping organize

Southern Ute Drum – Check out the Veteran’s Day edition, Broadband Grant Infrastructure benefit for out entire area, looking for print options no longer printing in Farmington


Dancing Spirit – Fill Your Bowl Fundraiser was very successful, approved as an Enterprise Zone Project (Make a certified contribution to Dancing Spirit Community Arts Center, and get either 25% of a cash donation as a state income tax credit or 12.5% of an in-kind donation as a state income tax credit.)


Farmers Fresh – Sales off a little, as energy costs go up then food costs up which is difficult for smaller grocery stores, it is essential for our community to support local businesses, also if you have an issue with the business go to them and talk to them rather than using social media to complain


Ignacio Community Church – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6pm
